Signs of a year's passing
- Music midtown is back; we had to take 285 around with the uhaul to avoid it last year.
- My brother's birthday, which was my first day.
- The corvette show down the street, which was in full-swing the weekend that I moved in.
- Good Friday's passing, which was my last day at my old job.
A year's accomplishments
- Flown on 4 planes.
- Learned about SQL Server and other technical items enough to know that I don't know shit.
- Read too few books.
- Stopped being depressed as much.
- Stopped being as intimidated by people.
- Stopped writing as much.
- Learned to be professional.
- Learned how to not be professional in a professional way when needed.
- Worked very long hours; let everything fall through the cracks.
- Realized that marriages take work.
- Bought a house.
- Got life insurance; found out I am 'Premium Rate' and not 'Super Premium Rate' due to my weight.
- Began running again.
- Started thinking about having children.
- Thought about leaving my job to work at a church.
- Got a raise that I felt that I had actually earned.
- Found God again; he wasn't hiding - I'm still hiding from him.
