About

"Consistency requires you to be as ignorant today as you were a year ago." -Bernard Berenson

A few months ago while at home I was looking through my old room and found a small cartoon that I had drawn. It was very badly drawn, but original, with a pretty good joke as its centerpiece.

I broke down crying when I saw it because I had lost touch with the part of myself that creates; it had been beaten out of me by school, by what other people thought, by what was expected.

This site is a slow exercise in me rediscovering that part of myself that likes to create things. If you don't like it, I really don't care, and if you do I really don't care either.

The writing on this site will be very bad for a long time, and possibly forever. The pieces, ramblings, and intellectual masturbatory fantasies displayed here may please no one, creating only a sad little piece of me on display. Given this one might ask why I am posting this on the web instead of writing it in a little journal like a normally non-normal person. The reason is that if I were to place my scrawl on sheets of toilet paper during spare moments they would get lost and they would be unpolished. The public nature of this amazingly unpublic site makes me polish things a little and the format of a weblog makes me keep it up.

Oh, and our type is moved by mt.
